Really Easy Baked Tempeh

Ingredients:Baked Tempeh

  • 8oz Tempeh, cut into bit-size pieces
  • 8ox Tomato sauce
  • 1 cup Red kidney beans (canned)
  • 1 Tbls Olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup Cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce or (my option) Tamari sauce
  • 1/4 tsp Curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp Ground ginger


  1. Saute the onion in the oil until almost tender
  2. Combine all ingredients, except the tempeh, in a pan and cook until slightly thickened - about 15-20 minutes
  3. Mix in the tempeh and transfer to a baking dish.
  4. Bake at 350°F or 180°C for 30 minutes or until completely heated through.
  5. Serve topped with guacamole or sour cream.

Serve with fresh salad or roasted vegetables or anything else you choose.
